The Osmosis faculty analytics dashboard is a powerful tool that allows educators to visualize their learners' video engagement and performance on related assessments. Follow these steps to access analytics from the Osmosis home page after logging in.

Step 1: Navigate to the Analytics Page

  • From the Home Page, click the triple-line menu icon in the upper left corner and select Analytics.

Step 2: Select a Cohort

  • Choose the cohort you wish to analyze. If you have multiple cohorts, you can either select the group or use the "search for cohort" field to find the specific cohort you want to view.

Step 3: Choose Which Data to View

  • Overview Data: This section provides summary usage data for the selected cohort over a specified date range, including:

    • Active users by day, week, month, or quarter.

    • Videos watched to 80% completion or greater.

    • Questions and flashcards answered.*

*Note: Flashcard data is only applicable to Osmosis products that include flashcards and is not available for Osmosis Nursing.

  • Members: Displays a list of cohort member names and email addresses (unless personal data capture was disabled), along with total sessions, latest login date, and streak (consecutive days of usage).

  • Student Reports: Visualizes student completion for Osmosis playlists and enables ad hoc reports on cohort video completion based on library views.

Step 4: Viewing Playlist Completion Data

  1. Select Playlist: In the blue box, select "playlist" and choose which playlist you want to analyze. Ensure you have created or followed a playlist for data to show.

  2. Cohort-Level Information: This appears in the top boxes for easy overview.

  3. Detailed Topic Information: Below, view details on:

    • Video Completion

    • Question Confidence and Accuracy

    • Flashcard Confidence and Accuracy by student.

  4. Individual Learner Data: Click on the progress bar to examine how a specific learner answered individual items.

  5. Export Data: If needed, you can export the data into a CSV file.

Step 5: Viewing Data on Unassigned Non-Playlist Videos (Ad Hoc Reporting)

  1. Select Library: Use the dropdown menu in the blue box to select "library" and choose a main topic for student data evaluation.

  2. Drill Down: Utilize the dropdown arrow to explore subtopics, with student data displayed similarly to playlists.

If you encounter any problems or need further assistance, please use the blue chat bubble located on the lower right of the Osmosis website, or contact us at [email protected]. We're here to help!
