On January 6, 2025, Osmosis will retire 180 old Clinical Learn pages and introduce 600 new Clinical Sciences Learn pages. The new pages feature updated decision-making trees and thousands of new board-style assessments.

After this transition, learners will no longer be able to access the retired Learn pages through navigation or search functions. If users attempt to access these pages via direct links, they will be redirected to similar, updated content. This ensures a seamless experience, allowing learners to easily find the latest Clinical Sciences material with just one click.

Why are we doing this?

By retiring our old Clinical series, students and educators will be provided with the best and most up-to-date learning experience.

This new Clinical Sciences series has been built from the ground up and is:

  • Scoped appropriately—it was designed and organized specifically for medical students in their clinical rotations. It aligns with the official curriculums for the seven core clerkships and with board exam blueprints so that the learner is not bogged down with extraneous or overly specialized detail.

  • Current —The content references the latest evidence-based guidelines and practices.

  • Rigorous—Our Clinical Sciences series is prepared and reviewed by subject matter experts, with a multi-step editorial process, which includes practicing specialists, medical educators, medical illustrators, and clerkship directors.

  • Concise—The videos explain high-level concepts in typically under 12 minutes. The student can also reference the decision-making tree, video transcript, or associated assessment items for even faster review of the content.

What about questions?

These questions have been hand-selected by our content team as they no longer meet our quality standards. These questions will no longer be findable on Quiz Builder. Newer questions that are higher quality will be available.

How does this affect My Analytics?

Along with this update, we’ve enabled the ability to Toggle On/Off viewing retired content (learn pages and questions) in Admin Analytics. In other words, learner’s history of answering questions and watching videos will be preserved, regardless of if they have been retired.

If you have any questions or encounter any issues, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Happy learning!
