What do you get with an Osmosis subscription?
What began as a way to help a group of first-year medical students study for USMLE® Step 1 evolved into the Osmosis of today: a comprehensive platform designed to help a variety of clinicians and caregivers around the world focus, learn, retain, and thrive.
As we've grown and evolved, our content has grown and evolved too, shifting from first- and second-year medical school preparation for USMLE® Step 1 & 2, expanding to a robust health education platform that supports the learning needs of MD, DO, RN, NP and PA learners along with a variety of health care professionals, caregivers, and even patients seeking approachable information on their health conditions.
An Osmosis subscription includes a variety of resources designed to support your medical, nursing, and health science education needs, including:
Videos: Access to thousands of high-quality, concise whiteboard-style videos and lectures covering a wide range of medical, nursing, and health profession topics. (Check our Product Updates for news on new and updated features, content, and more.)
Flashcards: 15,000+ interactive flashcards help reinforce knowledge and improve memory retention using scientifically supported learning techniques like spaced repetition and the testing effect.
Question Banks with a customizable Quiz Builder: Practice questions and quizzes help you prepare for your next exam, as well as help you target the subject areas where you need improvement!
High-Yield Notes beautifully illustrated for MD and DO students along with Med Tables for RNs that condense essential information into handy, easy-to-understand charts for Nursing students.
Mobile App Access: Our subscribers can access Osmosis resources on the go using our mobile app, allowing for flexible learning. (Available for iPhone and Android.)
Study Schedules: Developed to help you create personalized study plans, this tool currently has limited access but is being revamped in 2025!
Analytics and Progress Tracking: Need to know what specific topics to study? Osmosis has analytics to help you track your progress and identify areas where you may need more focus.
Please note that some features may vary based on the subscription plan. Make sure to check out the Osmosis Plans pages for the most current offerings and details!
We're also regularly updating and elevating our content and in-app resources by adding features like our Clinical Sciences content, which features helpful decision-making trees to support making an accurate diagnosis, as well as regularly adding new quiz questions and videos along with additional features and content, making your subscription dollars go further.
