If you’re an Osmosis institutional partner, we’ll provide Osmosis Prime memberships for everyone covered under your contract. We create the accounts from user lists that you send to us; your students, faculty, and administrators can then activate their accounts by choosing a password on the Osmosis School Portal: or by using your school SSO portal if you have opted to use this feature. (You can learn more about SSO here.)

To get started, for each cohort of students, faculty, and administrators, use this google sheet template to send us completed rosters.

Once we've created the accounts in our database, you can direct your users to the School Portal or we can do so by sending individualized emails from [email protected]. The first email that we can send looks like this:

A follow-up email detailing Osmosis features will then be sent out, which serves as a guide on how the students can get started:

Title: Study better with 1,600 engaging Osmosis videos

Description: This email will help your students better understand the Osmosis video library and the three levels of videos that it contains. It will also allow your students to understand which Osmosis videos will be most relevant to them, depending on if they are in their preclinical or clinical years.

Dear students,

Did you know that the Osmosis Prime library offers more than 1,600 engaging videos? The library includes hundreds of basic science and disease videos, ~150 high yield pathology videos which cover the highest yield topics on the USMLE® Step 1, COMLEX-USA® Level 1, and PANCE, and ~185 clinical reasoning videos.

Title: Osmosis High-Yield Pathology videos will help you prepare for board exams

Description: This email will introduce your students to our High-Yield Pathology video series, which will be particularly useful to them if they are studying for the Step 1 or Level 1 exams.

Osmosis High-Yield Pathology videos offer comprehensive coverage of the pathology fields you’ll need to know for USMLE® Step 1 and COMLEX-USA® Level 1.

This series concentrates high-yield material to cover essential facts you will encounter in resources like First Aid®, UWorld®, and on your board exams.

Activate your membership to access these exclusive videos.

Title: Use the Osmosis Step 1 study schedule to improve your board exam score

Description: This email will help your preclinical students understand that they can use Osmosis’s study schedule tool to help them improve their Step 1 scores.

Dear Students,

Osmosis can help you prepare for the USMLE® Step 1 exam with its powerful study schedule tool. Whether you have 12 months, 6 months, or 6 weeks to study for the boards, Osmosis can help you create a study schedule that fits your needs by telling you exactly what you need to review and when.

Activate your membership to build your study schedule.

If students and faculty have any issues accessing their account, they can contact our support team directly at [email protected] or use the chat feature in the bottom right of every Osmosis web page.
